Air exposure can wreak havoc by tarnishing your delicate silver. Don't just leave it lying on your nightstand or in an open jewellery chest. It's best to keep it in an air tight bag with tarnish resistant properties.

Use a simple micro fibre cloth or special jewellery cloth & maintain a long up and down strokes when cleaning your jewellery.

It is important to take of your jewellery when you do exercise or any strenuous activity, water related that might put your jewellery at risk.


Opal Care:

Opal is generally a soft stone. On Mohs scale, it has a varying hardness of between 5.5-6.5 which is approximately the same as glass.

It is also advisable to avoid high temperatures or low humidity extremes (eg. boiling water) as it can crack the Opal due to it consisting of around 5-6% water.

It is important to note that even if the jewellery is, 18k solid gold, 14k solid gold, stainless steel, 925 sterling silver, triplet opals, solid or boulder to make sure that you don't take it in the shower or get it wet & if you do a workout or any exercises that may harm the Opal Jewellery/Jewellery & it is recommended to take it off.

2. Solid opal should be cleaned gently with mild detergent in warm water and a soft toothbrush or cloth. Avoid bleach, chemicals, and cleaners. Doublets & triplets may be wiped with a damp soft cloth and mild detergent, but should never be soaked or immersed.
